SafeNet has been working with the Franciscans and the legal community on issues of disclosure and transparency, two areas essential to healing.

     Litigation can be hurtful for everyone involved. But information is empowering. It helps us make sound decisions about our lives and it contributes to our health, safety and spiritual well being.

     As part of the 2006 settlements, court depositions and other information will be made public. Some of these disclosures may appear ordinary and mundane, others will be charged and painful, yet all of them will be significant and necessary contributions to healing.

     SafeNet will publish the depositions on our website as they become available and will continue to provide access to this and other information in the spirit of healing and reconciliation
